Meet the Woman Behind HERRtruth

 

Born in Berkeley and raised in the heart of Oakland, I’m a California girl with roots that run deep. My name? Yes, it was inspired by a TV show—one of the first questions I always get asked.

 

I’m a proud Sagittarius with a passion for astrology, storytelling, and getting lost in a good book. Family means everything to me, even though I tend to move through the world with quiet independence. I’ve always been a bit of a loner, drawn to solo adventures, deep conversations, and moments of reflection. My heart belongs to New Orleans—my favorite city and a place that always reminds me to stay bold, soulful, and true to myself. And yes, I’ll happily debate sports—football and basketball are two of my love languages.

 

I created HERRtruth as a space where women could feel seen, heard, and inspired to live life on their own terms. I believe in growth, honesty, self-expression, and the power of owning your story—whatever that looks like for you. This blog is my way of stepping out from behind the scenes and sharing pieces of myself, in hopes that you’ll feel empowered to do the same.
